These are 30 various sword strikes using the front edge of the broadsword blade. Many are variants of other shots but should be worked as separate distinct strikes to ingrain their use. A Mechanics page will be added later to expand further on the methodology of snaps, cleaves, wraps, slots, etc...
Top downward Fore blade strike to any area of the opponent that is exposed. Often referred to as the "newbie hack" there are still many situations, especially in melee, where it is useful.
Fore blade strike to the very top/crown of the head, usually just over an opponent's shield/guard. A more refined version of the "newbie hack" that almost all beginners use.
Fore blade strike to the side of the Head on the same side as your weapon hand.
Fore blade strike to the side of the Body on the same side as your weapon hand.
Fore blade strike to the side of the Leg on the same side as your weapon hand.
Fore blade strike to the side of the Head on the opposite side as your weapon hand.

Fore blade strike to the outer offside Head using a modified slot mechanic to push the hand far to the offside delivering the shot outside the opponent's guard to the side of the head.
Fore blade strike to the outer offside Arm/Shoulder using a modified slot mechanic to push the hand far to the offside delivering the shot outside the opponent's guard to the side of the head.
Fore blade strike to the Face by drifting the hilt/blade across one's own body frontage to shoot the blade tip just inside the hanging sword guard.
Fore blade strike to the Arm by drifting the hilt/blade across one's own body frontage to shoot the blade tip just inside the hanging sword guard.
Fore blade strike to the inside Thigh of the offside leg when presented forward, by drifting the hilt/blade in front of one's own leg frontage to shoot the blade tip just inside the inner shield edge.
Fore blade strike to the side of the Head delivered with the base of the blade with more punch and less rotational mechanic. Fast, in close, extremely hard-hitting shot.
Fore blade strike to the front Face delivered with the base of the blade with more punch and less rotational mechanic. Fast, in close, extremely hard-hitting shot. Tip of the blade should be flicked forward before punching.

Fore blade strike to the onside Head delivered with the snap mechanic but starting from a lower, waist height position and rising to head height at the end.
Fore blade strike to the onside Leg delivered with the snap mechanic but starting from a higher, shoulder height position and sinking to leg height at the end.
