Modern Swordsman is a place for me to pour, organize and share the insights on sword fighting that I have gathered from over two decades of fighting in many forms. It is not so much just the participation that generates these thoughts, but years of analysis, observation and innovation from the point of view of evolving swordsmanship into the modern day, not ‘re-creating’ it simply from medieval ideas.
Take what is posted here as a free flow of thoughts and ideas, not as a ‘finished’ product, but as what I have come to understand from my own experiences to share. As such I will be dumping a lot of unfinished concepts onto this page as well, to be fleshed out later. If these ideas help other would be swordsmen then so much the better.
